Parent Opportunities at Maple Lawn Elementary

At Maple Lawn Elementary, we believe families play a key role in student success. We offer many ways for parents to connect, get involved, and grow alongside their children:

• Meet the Teacher – Start the year by getting to know your child’s teacher and learning about classroom expectations.

• Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Committee – Join school staff and community members in shaping important decisions for our campus.

• Maple Lawn Parent Organization – Be part of a team that supports students, teachers, and school events.

• Coffee with the Principal – Share ideas, ask questions, and connect with the principal in a relaxed setting.

• STEM Night – Explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, hands-on family activities.

• Literacy Night – Celebrate reading with interactive activities that build strong literacy skills at home and school.

• Parent Conference Nights – Meet with teachers to discuss your child’s progress and set goals together.

• Volunteer Opportunities – Make a difference by lending a hand at events, in classrooms, or around the school.
